A great honeymoon hike up the third tallest peak in Oregon. We were very surprised to find spring-esque snow conditions on route and were on continuous solid/icy snow 95% of the way. The snow required ax and made crampons nice to have while also keeping the crowds away. We happily plodded up to the summit and had the mountain to ourselves. On the descent the snow softened, and we glissaded down while people tried to slip their way uphill. A very fun day with my beautiful new wife.
