Longs Peak via Keyhole Ridge (5.5)

Once again deciding to head up Long's Peak, Glen, John and I set our sights on the classic Keyhole Ridge. Rated a modest 5.5, the route ascends the beautiful ridge up from the Keyhole toward the summit. Many parties skip some of the technical climbing by traversing behind the ridgeline, but we chose to stay on the east side and climb the towers directly. Exposed climbing and spectacular positions lead us up the ridge and toward the top. This was my 6th route on Longs and John's 12th summit. Truly a classic route and currently my favorite on Longs Peak.
